We worked together on ideation, concepting, brainstorming, type-, color-studies, and photography.
Kowloon, Hong Kong
Kowloon is one of three main regions in Hong Kong. Kowloon consists of urban areas and ruins harmonized together. What most people think of Hong Kong as--like modern buildings, a leading city of fashion & businesses, and luxury malls--is Hong Kong Island. If you go to the urban place in Kowloon, it's very developed, whereas the other side has a huge contrast.
Inspirations
We were greatly inspired by Kowloon Walled City, which used to be the world's most densed buildings, compacted in a small area. Although gone now, there is still a large number of ruins in Hong Kong, especially in Kowloon. Hong Kong is indeed a world's city and a hot place to go, but not everything is appreciated and perceived as it is.
Logo Sketches
Inspiration sources: repetitive rectangular shapes, windows, iron bars, and a viewfinder.

Icons for 5 Districts
Kowloon is composed of 5 districts, so we simplified the geometric shape of each district and created 5 different icons, which we applied on our brochures later.
